About The Shepherd at the Crib and the Cross
Throughout history shepherds have been viewed as a simple and unassuming lot. Rediscover the story of Christmas through the eyes of one shepherd boy, Nissim, who longs to meet the Messiah. Nissim relishes the Prophet Micah’s prophecy that the Messiah would be born in Bethlehem and prays that he is ready when the Son of God arrives.
This 50 page fictional children’s book filled with scripture verses, prayers, and original artwork by Catholic artist, Michael Corsini, puts Christ at the center of our holy days while connecting Christmas and Easter into one beautiful story.
See how Nissim, whose name is Hebrew for “miracle” and “wonder” experiences his own miracle as he presents a lifelong gift to Our Savior. Above all, may you the reader, both young and old, rediscover the miracles of Christmas and Easter with the heart of a child.
